  Here is another wonderful opportunity for parental training from Parents Plus Special Needs programme starting on 1st February for 7 weeks for families in the Newry area.
• Monthly Makaton calendar
  Makaton is widely used and promoted across our entire school and here is a wonderful opportunity for our parents and families to get involved!
• Lateral Flow Covid Testing
  As you are already aware pupils in Rathore School are now being offered Lateral Flow Device tests for Covid-19. These tests are to be taken by pupils before attending school every Monday and Thursday.
• The Department of Health has now recommended that pupils in special schools can switch to LFD testing.
   Recently a new version of this test has been made available to schools which requires a nose only swab. This test is taken at home before school twice each week and the result is provided within 30 minutes of taking the test.
