  • Women’s Aid Safe Place Coffee Morning Thursday 10th May
    Rathore School aims to support all members of its school community to promote positive health and well-being. We have been working collaboratively with Women’s Aid, Newry to work towards a ‘Safe School Award’.

  • Sports/ Fun Day
    This year there will be three Sports /Fun days based around the forthcoming 2018 World Cup 10.30 am - noon . Lets hope for good weather!

    We are planning the implementation of two nurture rooms for the forthcoming school year. The nurture rooms will be called: Primary - The SNUG : Support, Nurture, Unique, Grow Secondary - The DEN: Develop, Educate, Nurture

    A series of slides from Dr Brian McClean’s Training Session can be down loaded from the school web site .
  • Green Day Celebration
    We will be holding a day of treats, music and dancing on Friday 16th March . Pupils are asked to wear something green on the day. A voluntary donation towards our chosen charity for 2017/18 - PIPs Newry will be collected.
  • World Book Day
    A SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO VIEW .FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW. World Book Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday 13th March. We at Rathore are planning some fun and exciting book related activities for the day.
  • Feeding Challenges with babies and children.
    This information morning will be delivered by Health Professionals
  • Protective Pal
    A number of secondary students from Dungannon have developed a unique safety app designed to help a broad spectrum of people living with learning difficulties. The aim of Protective Pal is to help those in need whenever they're feeling distressed.
