We would like to inform our parents in advance of upcoming parent teacher meetings which will be taking place in Rathore School on Thursday 27th October from 3.30 - 6.30pm.
This will be an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to gain insight into educational plans for the year ahead and to agree on individual targets for your child.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs) have been replaced with Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) for all pupils in schools across N. Ireland who have a statement of educational needs, The PLP will outline educational objectives for your child and allow appropriate targets to be set, reviewed and evaluated so that your child's progress can be monitored and celebrated.
PLP meetings should last no more than approximately 15 - 20 minutes and your child's teacher will be sending home specific times for your meeting next week.
