Rathore School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 – 19 years old within the Newry and Down region. Our school vision aspires to nurture and develop a community of life-long learners. We strive to provide a safe, secure and fun learning environment in which we can inspire each pupil to thrive, grow and achieve their highest potential in life. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and our new school website will allow us to showcase their work and the activities they are involved in so that we can celebrate their wonderful achievements together as a community! - A SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO VIEW .FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW. World Book Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday 13th March. We at Rathore are planning some fun and exciting book related activities for the day.
- A number of secondary students from Dungannon have developed a unique safety app designed to help a broad spectrum of people living with learning difficulties. The aim of Protective Pal is to help those in need whenever they're feeling distressed.
- We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend a collaborative training session between parents and staff delivered by Dr Brian McClean in the area of Behaviour Management.
