Rathore School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 – 19 years old within the Newry and Down region. Our school vision aspires to nurture and develop a community of life-long learners. We strive to provide a safe, secure and fun learning environment in which we can inspire each pupil to thrive, grow and achieve their highest potential in life. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and our new school website will allow us to showcase their work and the activities they are involved in so that we can celebrate their wonderful achievements together as a community!   • Love is in the air! To get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day and half term we will be presenting the Virtual Valentine’s Disco which will be held on Friday 12th Feb for Juniors and Seniors.
  • You are invited to attend Anne Costello Workshops (Zoom) . Each Tuesday 10am -11am In February and March (excluding 16th Feb)
  • This is the perfect opportunity for pupils to read, or be read to, in a variety of ways, using a variety of different stories! Remember to have a look at our Facebook page for photos and videos of the activities taking place next week!
  • In recognition that some children entitled to free school meals could not attend their special school due to a covid-19 related issue, food boxes were provided to those children.
